GirlsMatter is a space and a place for girls to have fun while they learn:
to question
to inform
to interview
to discuss

Women's rights begin with girls standing up for each other creating a sisterhood. Sometimes girls get so used to being treated unfairly that they FORGET they can take a stand, especially together, to demand equality.

The GirlsMatter Club members sign in to cast their ballot for the CORE members on a real voting machine. Every member of the club turned out to vote because they all believe that their vote makes a difference. This was an important experience for the girls because now we know what is like to really vote. We also voted on a resolution to support or not support the school budget. Our vote turned out to match the public vote. Click here for more.
